Message After wax we use a ton ob body shine to add depth. Then
after each wash we use aproduct called EMC33 that is resigned to add the wax luster back after washing. Then a little body shine and your back in business.

Regards

: : First of all - the wax needs to be taken off wet (not dry). You ne3ed to small sections at a time. Due to the heat wave in Texas these days, it is also best to try to do the car as close to room temerature as possible.

: Car in in the garage... it's like 80 degrees, so I'm working with a smaller area so it doesn't dry this morning.

: : Two "light" coats - then a body shine on top for even more depth. The proceedure is correct, althugh I'm not a fan of Meguire's anymore. The exception is the car wash as it is a decent product.

: The gel car wash kicks ass. I'm not using the real '3 step' program from M's like I said, but that's what people can associate with now. I still use the professional numbered products, and am using the numbers that the '3 step' program came from.

: : I am more concerned about the swirl marks as wax, polish etc, should never be done in circular motions. The path needs to follow the line of the car. It would be mit guess without seeing the car that the swirls may be in the clearcoat and the clay let you see them not by taking the contaminates out. Try a paint clense like P21S after the clat before the polish.

: Nope. it's definitely the IBIZ. My car does not have swirl marks in the traditional sense. If I change the angle of the buffing path while using the IBIZ, the 'swirls' change direction too. Paint cannot do that.

: : The next thing to look at is the type and weave of the towles. Use only a 100% terry cloth towel and a very tight weave similar or better to a cloth baby diaper.

: Mine are a little looser, I'm just happy to find something local that's not poly.

: : Was the detergent you used "baby" detergent? soem detergents have brighteners and scents that leave a residue in the towel. Combined with detailing products can cause a haze or film look.

: No scents, no nothing. I double washed and the second wash was with no detergent at all.

: : Feel free to get a hold of me with any other questions you might have.

: Thanks

: I stripped everything back off with the paint scrub. Nice and squeaky. Then applied the IBIZ in a smaller area at a time. Got it wiped off before it could dry. You really have to work with this stuff to get things even. On my car color it was easy to see where the application wasn't as deep as other places. I'll have to make 2 passes to make sure things are as even as I can get them.

: Do you do any kind of final touch afterwards? Quik Detail or water or anything?
